Short Help

Main Screen

Application opens main screen after start and initializes GPS to find your location, so GPS must be enabled before.

User Interface elements:

  1. distance/azimuth display
  2. time/bearing display
  3. current mode indicator
  4. GPS status indicator
  5. your current position
  6. map scale ruler

After start, GPS status indicator has red color. Color is changing to blue, at first GPS fix (when location is found). GPS indicator progress bar shows current GPS accuracy reading, from 500 to 5 meters. If progress bar is full, then accuracy is perfect. When location accuracy is high enough for track recording, then GPS status changes color to green.

Time/bearing display is clickable. You can change its display value by click on it. In UI modes such "TO SEL..", clicking on this display, changes ETA (Estimated Time of Arrival) display time from "ETA BY WALK" to "ETA BY BIKE".

Main Screen Buttons

Touch the map view and control buttons become visible:

You can also enter manually your destination coordinations, for example, from Google Maps.

Access to user data server

To get access to server, open dialog "Set Web Service Access" from main menu.

If you do not already have access code, enter your email address, and access code will be sent to you. In a minute, you get automated email message with access code, that should be entered in proper edit field. After pressing OK button, access to server will be verified and access data will be stored.

Sending Waypoints

If you created waypoint on a map, you can store it on server as private or public.

Private waypoint is visible only for its creator. Only this user can get it back from server to device. Private waypoint can be changed, updated and sent again.

Public waypoint can be sent only once. It is visible for all users and can not be changed and updated again. That's why such a waypoint must have legible name, short description, and should be useful for others.

Searching for Waypoints

Option for waypoints searching is placed in main menu under name "Find Waypoints".

You can choose waypoints type to find and searching range, with reference to your current location from GPS.

After search is done, new dialog with list of found waypoints become visible. You can select waypoints to download on to device. Downloaded waypoints will be placed on map view.

Waypoints, already existng on device, will not be shown to download.

Track data Export

Track can be exported, if was stopped with "Stop" option. Context menu for closed track, shows then new "Export" option.

After new "Export" option select, export track to KML dialog will be visible. Track can be sent with email, or saved to storage card. KML file can be imported into Google Maps, or directly opened in Google Earth, that enables track view on a map.

Have fun !

Just use it, and all become clear.

To be more oriented before you go to trip, add some waypoints, especially some manually entered targets coordinations, and you will be never lost.
